As my friends will tell you I am partial to cakes of most types and forms, so much so that I collect "cake" items which currently range from underwear to a calendar. These kawaii cupcakes are most impressive. I also enjoy the series of pacman cupcakes below. I wrote last week about working on a secret project with a friend. I can now reveal more about this! The project in question was to be a birthday present. My housemate Clare and I created this SUPER AWESOME kawaii shoebox!
The box was first covered in wrapping paper and then we collected a selection of images and stickers to make a collage all around the box (all sides were covered). I also cut some animal silhouettes out of some colourful wrapping paper.
I got this cute "Moomin Candy" from a recent trip to Cybercandy in Brighton. I adore the Moomin characters and thought the packaging was worth posting about. The sweets themselves taste similar to travel sweets and are in four flavours: melon, strawberry, banana and pineapple.
